HYUN (b. 1997, Seoul, South Korea) is a New York-based painter whose process-driven work blends abstraction with representation. Utilizing diverse materials like watercolor, acrylic, oil, cardboard, and paper towels, Hyun creates textured, unpredictable surfaces that transform personal experiences into abstracted patterns, colors, and shapes, inviting viewers to pause, connect, and find beauty in the everyday.
